Refund Policy
When and how refunds work at Clikfile.
In short: whether a refund is possible depends on how far your work has progressed. Government fees paid on your behalf are generally not refundable.
We want you to feel confident when you work with us. This policy explains, in plain language, when a refund may apply and how to ask for one.
01Overview
This Refund Policy explains when a refund may be available for the services of Clikfile (“we”, “us” or “our”). It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions. By engaging us for any service, you agree to this policy.
02Our approach
Our services are professional work that starts as soon as you engage us. Our team spends time reviewing your documents, preparing applications and reports, and dealing with authorities. For this reason, whether a refund is possible depends on how far your work has progressed.
03When a refund may apply
You may be eligible for a refund in these situations:
- You cancel before we have started any work on your service
- We are unable to deliver the agreed service for reasons within our control
- You have made a duplicate or excess payment by mistake
In the first case, we may deduct charges already incurred, such as government fees or third-party costs paid on your behalf.
04When a refund does not apply
Refunds are generally not available in these situations:
- The work has been completed or is already substantially in progress
- Government fees, statutory charges and other third-party costs have already been paid on your behalf
- An authority delays, rejects or decides against an application because of incomplete or incorrect information given by you, or for reasons outside our control
- You change your mind after we have delivered a report, document or filing as agreed
05Partial refunds
Where only part of the work has been done, we may keep the fees for the completed portion and refund the remaining amount. We will explain how the amount is worked out when you make a request.
06Ongoing services
For ongoing services such as outsourcing and compliance support, you can stop the service by giving notice as agreed with us. Fees for a period that has already started are generally not refundable, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
07How to request a refund
To ask for a refund, please contact us in writing and include:
- Your name and contact details
- The service you engaged us for
- Payment details, such as the date, amount and mode of payment
- The reason for your request
08Review and processing
We review every request fairly and will let you know our decision. Approved refunds are paid back using the same mode of payment you used, wherever possible. The time it takes to show in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
09Payment errors
If you believe you have been charged twice or charged the wrong amount, please tell us as soon as possible. We will check the payment and correct any error.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, and continued use of our services means you accept the updated policy.
